The easiest way to get to Dingle is by car. Approaching from Tralee on the N86 road parts near Camp where you can go north via the R560 Conor Pass or south via Annascaul. Both routes offer beautiful scenery. The Conor Pass road is not for the faint hearted driver: magnificent views on this dramatic mountain road will beguile even the most cautions driver so keep an eye on the road and prepare to pull in to allow oncoming cars pass the narrow stretches. If travelling from Killarney you will pass the spectacular Inch beach, featured in Ryan’s Daughter and favoured by surfers. It’s worth a diversion if you are driving the from Tralee direction.
